You know how some countries men are required to do a couple of years of military service?

I think the US should have that but instead everyone is required to work as a waiter for some amount of time. Honestly a month is probably an equal amount of stress as two years in the military lol

Like I genuinely do not mean to sound rude, but I’m sorry I don’t think this is the pro-working class take you think it is.

Again, love that you’re willing to work to change it, more people need to do that, but this isn’t how, at least in my opinion, it should be done.

Has gotten more prevalent, and I don’t like how it’s done or how it’s asked for before service, but tipping for stuff besides getting full service at restaurants is something that I have seen being done for years. It’s been the norm for me to top when getting cream parlors, take out, haircuts, etc.

Those positions are definitely tipping positions. Obviously they’re not mandatory, and I would expect someone to tip the same amount as dining in if they take out, but still it’s counting towards that employees total. And in small restaurants, like the one I work at, the “hosts” handling the calls

Because some people haven't heard it yet: PAYPAL IS NOT A BANK, DO NOT LEAVE MORE THAN A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS SITTING IN YOUR ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME. MOVE IT TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY.

Paypal can and will close your account and steal all your money without warning. And have done MANY times.
