In a supreme and totally piss-taking turn of events I am no longer able to attend my own doctors appointment about weakness and swelling in my legs because my legs just gave way and left me lying on the rug for half an hour 😢 No harm done but it's already time to think of other methods!

This afternoon's doctors appointment is my first official anything in weeks and the nerves are really getting to to me now 🤨

I'm already on a waitlist for Age UK, they aren't a problem. I'm glad I've managed to get hold of everyone else I need for myself but I'm still stressed out 200% 🙄

Wow, all this NHS and healthcare form-filling that I'm doing lately is totally stewing my brains! Taking a few hours off I think.

I'm glad that with the passage of time since my op I have stopped having panic attacks in the middle of the night, though this means I don't seem to be getting any actual rest any more. It would be nice to stop going to bed stupidly early and then waking up before dawn I must say! 🙄

Apparently I'm getting a direct phone call from my doctor between 2pm & 4pm on Tuesday so here's hoping for positive outcomes 😎🤞

Even though I keep feeling I may have come home a day or two early it was definitely the right time. Miss having other people around though.

I've gone all out to get an appointment about this and now it's too late. I need to rewind a few weeks!

Soon as I say this I wake up the next morning with a nasty rash on my legs 🙄 I should keep my gob shut!

Just wish I could start properly feeling better and get back to normal after this operation business. I want my life back before it's too late!

I am just trying to find something to occupy my attention for this evening because the family are all busy elsewhere & I'm stuck at home by myself 🙄

Genuine question for anyone here who just might know the secret - how can I get in direct contact with my doctor without having to go through the receptionist or whatever they are called these days? Things would be much easier for me if I could!

I am signed up with a help agency but they still haven't got around to me yet, so any noticeable improvement in my health is welcome. Doesn't stop me feeling lonely sometimes though :(

Health update:
My recovery has taken a bit of a knock lately, with my sister having damaged a nerve in her back which has cut her mobility drastically. My absolute rock has been unable to help me with any chores and I haven't even had any visitors for over a week.
