My TeeByrd is swamp ash and is easily the heaviest guitar I own. It’s also got a lovely chunk of birdseye maple for a one piece neck. I love a chunky neck!

Aye, Wide range. Picked it up new at a quarter of the rrp, but never really got on with. Ripped out the fender wrhps and dropped some Creamery wide range in but I’ve still not played it for years. I’ll check those Chinese buckers out asap.

Thats an absolute beauty of a guitar!! I much prefer yours over my AV72, which I’ve never really got on with. Love walnut - it’s a joy to work with and stunning to look at, especially claro.

Lovely guitar! Probably worth putting the time in to get it playing well again. I changed the the bridge and tailpiece on the SG to wireless steel / nickel and aluminium tailpiece.

Thanks buddy! Picked up new in 2016 and thought I would have to try a fair few out before finding a good one. Couldn’t believe how good this one was, plus the sweet grain! Ripped out the PCB wiring asap and dropped in a vintage cloth loom, low powered PAFs and strung up with heavy bottom 11s.
