🐰💰 BARBARY COAST BUNNY (1956) - Chuck Jones Classic! New video on the channel!
Bugs strikes GOLD but gets swindled by Nasty Canasta! Six months later, our clever rabbit returns to the saloon playing dumb... but who’s really getting played?
‘The other guys’ being me right 😜 Love McKimson though yes his output is hit and miss
29.01.2026 04:22 — 👍 1 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0Here is the only time director Art Davis paired Porky and Daffy together! He had directed shorts with each seperately and he brings the same energy here! It’s just such a shame that the original negatives are considered lost. From Riff Raffy Daffy (1948) What are your thoughts on this one?

This later entry shows how even with tightening budgets director Friz Freleng could still deliver an entertaining entry! #looneytunes #warnerbros #bugsbunny #frizfreleng
11.01.2026 22:08 — 👍 4 🔁 2 💬 1 📌 0Next up on the channel I take a look at Napoleon Bunny-Part (1956)! This entry has Bugs Bunny making a wrong turn and ending up at Napoleon’s Palace seemingly time traveling in the process (or did he?)
11.01.2026 22:08 — 👍 6 🔁 2 💬 1 📌 0After this all other entries would feature the two starting and ending their work shifts.
Let me know if you’ve seen this one!
Did you know that it took three shorts before the formula for the Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog shorts came together? This is the second one where were are first introduced that the wolf (unnamed still!) is ALSO doing shift work.

The Unexpected Pest (1956) Review: Another Looney Tunes Twist on Cat-and-Mouse Comedy!

Not sure why the owners would kick him out if he is too good at catching mice but anyway 😂
Let me know if you’ve seen this one! #sylvester #warnerbros #looneytunes #bobmckimson
Next up: The Unexpected Pest (1956)! While cat and mouse cartoons have existed since the very beginnings of animation it’s nice to see decent variations on the formula. Sylvester being too good at his job and now needs a mouse to keep around as a slave to show his owners he is still useful!

This one is the OTHER Dragnet parody (the other being Rocket Squad released the same year) though in this one it’s just a parody of the narration done in that show.
Tree Cornered Tweety (1956) Review: Looney Tunes Parodies Dragnet (again)!

This one feel like a thread of gags that might have been cut from earlier entries but with that said it’s another fun entry! Let me know if you’ve seen this one! #looneytunes #warnerbros #sylvester #tweety

21.12.2025 22:37 — 👍 3 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 0I spent the morning recording with my good friend @guidoiseengeit recording two new tracks to be edited as reviews in the new year!
Even at this point in time while Freleng shorts can be on ‘autopilot’ they’re still fun!
Yep it’s usually a different team handling those. The most notorious ones are the early Tom ans Jerry ones. Now THOSE are just terrifying 😂
17.12.2025 04:17 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0The weird thing about Tree Cornered Tweety is that image in the lobby card does NOT happen in the short itself! Let me know if you’ve seen either of these! #looneytunes #sylvester #tweety

Wholly Smoke (1938) is the last Porky Pig short directed by Frank Tashlin durng his first directorial stint for Warners. It’s unusual as it’s an anti-smoking short released during a time where smoking was very widespread (and even considered to be ‘healthy’). Let me know if you’ve seen this one!
