Well, the Paul Cochrane style ( Tim or Timmy) *is* considered " Transparent ", much like the Morning Glory, but I don't think of it quite that way- to me, it's kinda like the DOD 250, or MXR Distortion +- it can do that " hint of hair" low Gain OD, but really has a character at higher gain.

For what I do with it ( boost) the " Tumnus" side of the gearbox does what I need. Obviously, big fan of Wampler....
