I did another open capture pack of my guitar amp, this time with a Lewitt condenser mic and the DSL "classic gain" channel. Even though NAM can't learn room reverb, I've still seen others use a room mic and get cool results

For a portable practice solution I use Neural Amp Modeler to capture my amp + drive pedals, and I load these models on my Sonicake Ampcube or a pedal

So I guess the TLDR on my board rn is that I can now fit a nice fuzz or a nice delay but not really both! I guess I'll see what happens. But I kind of used up all the slack in my board viewing it as a modular/adaptable system before I got rid of stuff no longer meeting any real need for me

I just took two pedals off my pedalboard, and it actually feels pretty good.

Got rid of my ML-2 distortion and a cheap delay that didn't have enough headroom to use in my FX loop. For now, I think I'm actually suppressing GAS... I can record with delay in my DAW if I want/need to

Don't want to name the specific brand, but I saw an instrument maker's website crash from Super Bowl exposure. Seems like aggressive caching could have helped a lot since they were already on Cloudflare (that's the part that struck me as weird)

Confirmed I was underdriving the amp by not setting my reamp box hot enough 🤦‍♂️

I think it sounds sick now that I uploaded a fixed model!

I might not have had the level high enough on the reamp box. It doesn't feel as lively as my actual amp or other models I've used tbh

Uploaded my first two NAM models! I captured my amp (Marshall DSL5CR) boosted by a TS-808 style circuit with a couple different mic positions
