Cube Cobra List: Breaking the Oath Cube **Featured at Bar B Cube 24, Cubecon 25 and Frenzy at the Falls 25!** A MTG cube meant to play a version of the Oathbreaker format! In this cube you will draft a Oathbreaker (Planeswalker) and Signature Spell (Instant or Sorcery) that you can play out of the command zone. **CUBE RULES BELOW** Games are 1v1 starting at 20 life Decks are 40 cards minimum with also 2 cards in your command zone. (42 total) Packs of 16 (Pick 2 1st pick of pack like a Masters Draft) Your deck's color identity matches the combination of your Oathbreaker and Signature Spells color identities. You may only add basic lands to your deck that match the deck color. You may add any spell to your main deck regardless of color identity. A player may cast a Oathbreaker or Signature Spell they own from the command zone. Each cast from the command zone costs an additional {2} for each previous time the player castes that card that game. This additional cost is informally known as the "command zone tax". If a Signature Spell would be exiled from anywhere or put into its owner's hand, graveyard, or library from anywhere, its owner **must** put it into the command zone instead. This replacement effect may apply more than once to the same event. If a Signature Spell would somehow go anywhere but the command zone or the stack, it **instead** goes to the command zone. This takes precedence over other replacement effects such as buyback. A Signature Spell can only be casted if your Oathbreaker is on the battlefield and under your control. You could play this cube multiplayer, but it was designed for 1v1. **NOTES** - [[Outpace Oblivion]] is the only "Start your Engines Card" - [[Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools]] is the only planeswalker with partner. Thus you can't partner in the command zone. Stop that.
