Godspeed to the folks at @insomniac.games who will almost certainly be trying to get Wolverine out before the new GTA date.

I was excited for the game because I loved Mega Evolutions in X/Y but so much of what I’m seeing/hearing about this game makes me think I should stay away. The last thing I can stand in games these days is to feel bored and there are so many other games to play.

I had tickets for the Omaha date and yes the ticket sales weren’t great. However neither were the ones for the Witcher concert in the weeks ahead of the event but day of I’d say the place was 85%-90% full. Definitely a bummer that they pulled the event.

There’s a prequel comic coming out called Dark Descent. Highly recommended, it’s got haunting art and you really feel a sense of dread for the people on the ship.

ODST and Reach are the best 2 Halo games imo. Halo 3 is a very close 3rd but when I feel like replaying a Halo game is always ODST or Reach.

How are you feeling about iOS 26 after having the full release for a few weeks now.

This very much confirms I made the right decision staying with the Pro Max. I fully intended to switch to the Plus when they added Pro Motion to it and was disappointed when I saw the Air’s thinness and therefore lack of battery. That and the lack of a second speaker were the dealbreakers for me.

Battery and only having the earpiece speaker are what kept me on the Pro Max for another upgrade cycle. It’s super neat and I love the idea of a slightly paired back Pro but I feel like I’d have regretted it in a few months and it’s not like it was way cheaper than the Pro Max.

Hereditary

Do you feel this game would have lost anything by being easier? Some of these fights, including some non boss enemies, feel hateful. I love exploring but whenever I hit a boss fight there is guaranteed frustration.

Fantastic track

Should I skip straight to Will of the Wisps if Blind Forest didn’t click for me? I have enjoyed it but can’t stick with it.

Just finished the first issue and I’m hooked. Props to the artist, some chilling panels. One of the key elements of the story really reminds me of the game Dead Space which was in itself was inspired by Event Horizon. Looking forward to the next issue.

I was planning to wait until I had all the issues to read it but that makes me really want to dive in when issue 2 drops.

The UI is so much better but all the people who send me music to check out use Spotify. That little bit of friction is just enough to keep me on Spotify but I'm constantly thinking about switching. Just this morning I was watching people's impression after switching this year.

Are you playing it on your Ally or Steam Deck? Since it’s run based I figured it would be a good Deck game but wasn’t sure about performance.

I'm sure you had some sort of hand in it so I want to say thanks for bringing back Outlaws. That game is one of my first gaming memories.

If you didn’t like Beau I’d wait to buy Eddington until you watch it. It’s still a wonderfully made movie but definitely my least favorite of his feature length works. Hereditary is one of my all time favorite movies but each new movie of his I like a little bit less than the previous.
