Hypothesis: trump destroyed the east wing as a cuck's supplication to Melania, who famously hated decorating it. This year she won't have to, and she has only her dear husband ro thank. Maybe transactional don expects quid pro quo.

The American Hubricist With today's 7-2 USSC ruling prohibiting the regime from disappearing people from the USA without due process, we have an indication how the court will rule on the question of nationwide injunctions,....

The USSC has a big job to do and hasn't been updated for 150 years - during which everything else in society got inestimably more complicated. It's time to renew the high court: www.facebook.com/Hubricist/po...

The words "conservative" and "liberal" are both basically meaningless now. "Progressive" is a pretty good term for those who prefer a government that actively supports universal civil rights and social welfare. The opposite of "progressive" is not conservative, it is "regressive." Spread the word.

Daniel Passamaneck Sometimes when things feel confusing I like to pick up Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino, open it at random, and read it like the I Ching, looking for a clue to my current conundrums in words written....

cross-posting from FB because character limits.

You can still read glowing vacation reviews from last year but they muted any more current and relevant comments so they don't show up - and now no one can make a new comment at all.

He seems to be taking this to FL and NC and red places that get lots of disaster relief. People love to make fun of FEMA but when the trailers stop showing up they're gonna be pissed, and not at Nancy Pelosi.

Americans have always loved strong leaders. Maybe they want to identify with them in the dream of someday having their power. Not the obedience of a cowed people but the delusion of irrational dreamers.
