Haven't been feeling the Halloween spirit at all this year.

I had the same thought. And it's not even a family friend, or a more distant relative! It's his dad's cousin! Who HASN'T referred to a parent's cousin as an uncle/aunt? Beyond delusional.

Growing up everyone treated us like the golden children protagonists of reality and I've yet to be dissuaded from the notion.
