Barely an hour ago, Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif warned us all:

“If this madness doesn’t end, Gaza will be reduced to ruins, its people’s voices silenced, their faces erased — and history will remember you as silent witnesses to a genocide you chose not to stop.”

Israel just killed him.

Staff at UK’s top AI institute complain to watchdog about its internal culture Whistleblowing complaint warns Alan Turing Institute is in danger of collapse due to government threats over funds

This certainly sounds a lot like a minister bullying a charity into dropping research into the dangers of AI and it's utility for public good to force them into unrelated work about military utilities instead...

At some stage, someone in the government needs to look at the Palestine Action situation in purely pragmatic terms: is proscription specifically achieving any of the goals they wanted it to, or is it proving entirely counterproductive?

They wanted to intimidate, harass and arrest a bunch of old leftist protesters while telling the Mail and the Sun that the people they are stomping are extremists and terrorists. So yes, I would say they are achieving exactly the goals they wanted to pursue.

Attention, liberals: the only way to discourage these horrible people from behaving this way is to withdraw your support and treat them as the mortal enemies of the ideas you purport to hold dear that they so obviously are. Everything you do and say in response that is not that, is just wind.

Okay, so, what does it mean democratically speaking, if Britain keeps electing leaders nobody likes with policies that nobody wants, who then swiftly plummet to hated public enemy status, and nobody can explain how that keeps happening?

“You can’t hold us to account because we stole so much that it would put us out of business if we had to compensate the people we stole it from” is…..an interesting line to take.

Corbyn hits back at Rayner’s war on allotments Former Labour leader and vegetable-growing fan accuses Housing Secretary of ‘trying to put a nail in the coffin’ of a long British tradition

Is this Government going to put the nail in the coffin of the joy of digging ground for potatoes on a cold, wet February Sunday afternoon?

The battle for the grass roots is on!

Especially funny given that article that was all "he can chair a meeting" is a passage in one of these books where Starmer is specifically unable to chair a meeting because he's such a worm. Everything about the man is a total media mirage, no wonder he disintegrated on contact with reality.

Some lighter things, there are some very funny details in all of these "here's how we lied and undermined democracy to get Starmer as Prime Minister" books and it's that Starmer's almost always described as the dumbest cunt alive by everyone. Just a total halfwit. I love it.

Apparently this nickname for Keir Starmer was originally used to refer to Brian Cowen, former Fianna Fáil leader and Irish Taoiseach from 2008-2011, which does make you wonder if there's an Irishman around Starmer who might have first pulled the reference. Hard to say. Nice bunch of people.

Yesterday, I published an article about yourparty.uk

I want to issue a public correction and a sincere apology for an error.

In that article, I said 500,000 people had signed up. That was incorrect.

It is now 600,000 — and counting.

Real change is coming.

China is building 74% of all current solar and wind projects, report says Beijing is dominating construction of renewable energy sources, according to Global Energy Monitor

In an effort to win this contest, China is building hegemony by exporting not just its green products but also in a structural shift exporting its technology, engineering, supply chains, and financing.
