I read the novel Tom Lake recently by Ann Patchett. Not thinking that it was my sort of book, I was pleasantly surprised. I just loved it!

The Little Red Book is a fantasy novel about writing a novel, highlighting the passions, lusts and desires of its cast of characters. It's the second book of my trilogy with links to famous operas. The Mozart operas Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Cosi Fan Tutte are shockingly reinvented!

My book,The Incidental Legacy of Carlo Negrini, published in 2024, is the first tranche of a trilogy of novels linked to famous period operas. The inspiration for the Carlo Negrini novel was Verdi's dramatic Simon Boccanegra, transformed into a contemporary plot, full of mystery and fantasy.

The first novel of my trilogy, The Incidental Legacy of Carlo Negrini, was published in 2024. The three novels are linked to famous period operas with dramatic contemporary twists. Verdi's Simon Boccanegra, from 1857, revised in 1881, was the inspiration for the Carlo Negrini novel.
