New Ecco the Dolphin games currently in development News has emerged today that multiple new Ecco the Dolphin games are currently in development for unspecified video game consoles. A&R Atelier, which is comprised of some individuals who worked on the original Ecco the Dolphin games, have launched a new website and Discord. A&R Atelier previously said that they were looking to create remastered versions of Ecco the Dolphin and Ecco: The Tides of Time, as well as develop a third Ecco the Dolphin game.

I love this. As tortuous as this can be sometimes it’s a real “we are doing a thing together and now we have built something together” experience. Which can be very satisfying, when it’s done of course

Meanwhile, companies actively carrying out research to make their shiny "games" be addictive as possible, while the consequences are literally life-ruining, get to whisper "be gamble aware" as they rot the high street.

This deeply upset me when we had to use the food banks during the pandemic. As hard as our local one tried, all they were being given from surrounding businesses was cheap, surplus junk food. The volunteers did a great job making sure those with kids had fresh things where possible though

Isn’t it funny that as soon as you take the Christmas decorations down, that’s when the snow arrives. Maybe I should put them back up 🤔

It's the national year of reading in the uk in 2026. Instead of asking "why don't kids read any more", ask "how can I help them find the stories (and non fic) they will fall in love with". Less "get off my lawn whippersnappers" and more "come, sit on the lawn, here's a comic".

hey did you know I have a podcast about reading british Sonic comics in the 90s?

Well not any more, because it's the MILLENNIUM EPISODE. It usually comes out on Fridays but I've brought it out NOW. You will hear young me at a party as a thousand years tick away and another hove in.
