These days I can convince myself to ignore unless it's on a prime number. That shit feels uncomfortable in my body, and it will not stand. I love my wife's car, because the volume has no visible numbers at all.

Last year was the most I'd ever thought about suicide. What I'd thought was a severe depression was actually AuDHD burnout. My wife is incredibly supportive and together, we've been learning how to try and keep burnout from getting so bad again. Finally talking about it is 100% what helped me.

My wife had a history of horrible periods and low iron until a couple of years ago. She was in the hospital with hemoglobin under 5 and needed two transfusions. She had an ablation, and then a hysterectomy, and couldn't believe how much more energy she had after that. Her hemoglobin is over 13 now!

If you have to sit in your kid's bedroom until they fall asleep, get them into using a sleep mask. That way they don't know you're on your phone, unless you forget to turn the sound and vibration off.
