Emmer is such an embarrassment to this state. What the hell does he think his job is if not to solve problems, both big and small, for his constituents?

An absolutely essential read about an overlooked leader of the Civil Rights Movement. I’d learned a lot about Miss Ella Baker from my other reading, but always as a secondary character. This book shows just how primary she was and how much she was doing in the background.

Highly recommended.

Trent Reznor has still got it. It’s so hard to really rock an arena show, but Nine Inch Nails made it look easy last night. And they did it with just some lights and fabric. Simple but super cool.
