• treat metal hardware
• replace snare throw-off
• treat wood shell
• cover shell
• replace heads
• tune!

thank you for joining on this process. here is a video of me using this, beloved, snare drum. with hair!

so you take them off and you think oh my hardware needs a bit of a spruce. so that’s come off. that’ll get a metal polish, rust remove. ah, and my snare throw-off is getting on, should replace that. and the wrap is peeling. and oh- now i do not have a snare drum.

this process begins at the same place any other ill fated drum refurb does. my batter heads are, to say the least, getting on. thank you to @coolshirtz.bsky.social for the stickers. they have outlasted the skins themselves. also featured are penned bpms for tracks and unremovable tape
