I wanted to share a quick update on what we’ve been working on with the Buffer API and Developer Portal.

First, thank you to everyone who’s been testing and sharing feedback. It’s been so helpful, and we’re building with that input in mind. 💙

This year, consistency fueled growth. What's your biggest 2025 takeaway?

Shared 300+ posts with a 37-week streak:
🔹 40% @Buffer highlights: API evolution, channel improvements, key hires.
🔹 30% @shesharp.co impact: Mentorship successes, award nominations, events.
🔹 20% PM reflections: Conference talks, "build for the long term", the power of engagement.

Using a mix of insights from our "In Bloom" campaign, raw post data I pulled using our new API, and AI, this is my @Buffer year in review:

For almost a year, Sr Software Engineer @ Buffer, Arek Panek lived inside one of the most stubborn product mysteries at Buffer: posts getting “stuck in processing.”

A tiny percentage of updates that were neither sent nor errored. Just stuck.

This became his North Star, & he refused to let it go!

Easier said than done, though. Staying on top of every comment is tough, especially across multiple platforms.

You can now see all your comments from LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, and Bluesky in one place, minus the endless notification pile.

Our team at @buffer.com dove into the numbers: after analyzing 72,000 posts, we made quite the discovery 💡

Creators replying to comments consistently saw a 30% boost in engagement on future posts 🚀

Since the beginning of the year, I've made it a habit to share something on social every single week.

What surprised me the most? The biggest shift didn't come from posting more - it came from engaging in real conversations.

My biggest take-aways so far:

➡️ There’s always something new to learn.

➡️ Finding a supportive community (like my colleagues) makes all the difference.

We regularly exchange feedback and share tips on our company Slack channel, which helps us all grow.

The real game-changer for me has been learning from everyone around me and supporting each other along the way. I subscribe to their newsletters, watch their videos, and engage with their posts, and they do the same for mine.

My teammates are all at different points in their content journeys, too. Some are seasoned influencers, while others are just starting out.

Working at @buffer.com doesn’t automatically make me a content creation expert. In reality, I’m still finding my groove: experimenting with new tools, discovering my authentic voice, and figuring out what kind of content truly connects with people.

My biggest take-aways so far:

We reached an incredible milestone together during our recent retreat and had the chance to celebrate in person. 🤩

What are some of the special moments that happen during your team offsites?

3️⃣ Gratitude Session. Our last session of the retreat focuses on sharing gratitude and giving thanks to other colleagues. Sometimes we give thanks for work things that have happened during the week, and other times, we take a moment to share something more personal.

2️⃣ Personal Stories Dinners. We spend two evenings with three other colleagues from different parts of the company, and talk about life. You leave these sessions feeling more connected to your teammates, developing a rapport that goes beyond work.
