In Seattle there’s privately owned public spaces that aren’t quite like what you’re talking about here since they’re still private, but there’s some pretty nice indoor spaces where you can just sit if you want. Cedar Hall is pretty nice. I think some hotel lobbies let you do this too?

ritter sport dark chocolate with marzipan filling

In case you like chocolate but are avoiding dairy: I didn't know the marzipan ritter sport doesn't have dairy in it til recently...the dark chocolate isn't too bitter and the marzipan isn't too sweet so it subverted my expectations of bitter chocolate with way too sweet filling. Yummy :)
