Keep us update. I started this book, but didn’t get very far before I put it down. Have heard so many good things about it that it is still on my TBR list.

Love it! It’s the best to have some family downtime after the meal :)

My family had ours yesterday once my brother was released from the hospital and we played cards after.

Unfortunately we’ve had a family emergency and won’t be able to celebrate #Thanksgiving today.

So let me live vicariously through you guys…

I have a love/hate relationship with lists like these though because, inevitably, this means I will be adding to my massive #TBR …

Recently I’ve encountered books that bring a whole new take on well known classics. For example an illustrated Grimm’s Fairy Tales with pop-up pages!

Another one of my favorites is the Animal Farm graphic novel.

I agree with your approach. Part of this is also teaching the children how to respond to each other when they have different beliefs. I don't think it's reasonable to tell anyone they cannot wear a garment, instead, we need to focus on teaching the kids on acceptable responses.

One of the things that used to work for me when trying to have some social interaction was participating in a silent book club.

How exciting!!! Have you decided which book will have the honor?

I’m getting very worried as the vet has told us that the cortisone shots can’t go on much longer and we might have to progress to removing all his teeth 🦷. Ouchie!

This little guy had obviously had a tough life so far and I’m really hoping that we can get him through this. Any advice is welcome!

Has anyone gone through anything similar? Any recommendations as to what we can do at home to help him? We are going to continue following the vet’s treatment plan, but I’m wondering if there is anything we can do (holistically) to help the little guy.

Between early Oct and today, the little guy has had 2 cortisone shots and multiple rounds of two antibiotics. He’s also had a dental cleaning and had 11 teeth removed.

Unfortunately the infection persists.

We have started him on a nutritional gel to get him some extra nutrition and calories. 4/

The cat that we thought was a kitten was actually btwn 18-24 months. He was just severely malnourished.

He was also leukemia + (although not the super deadly kind) 🙁

And he had a very bad infection in his mouth.

The vet gave him antibiotics which we started in early Oct. 3/

On a cold day, the little guy found his way into our home and we could not in good conscience take him out.

We took him to the vet for his shots and a check up and we found out a few things. 2/

Looking for any advice for a very new cat owner.

So in Sep 2024 we found a very, very thin kitten 🐱 on our front yard. We have three dogs 🐶 so we couldn’t keep him but we decided to provide it with food and water as his little ribs were visible. 1/
