After reading Nobody’s Girl, I was disheartened to learn that her husband was portrayed in the book as someone who was kind and supportive, but that she actually stated he was abusive in real life and there was no mention of such in the book. It causes me to waver on her truthfulness. Anyone else?

I met a couple years ago who quit there jobs, sold their home, and were hired for gig work as journey hosts for Holland America. They shared amazing stories of their new lifestyle ….very minimalistic but highly enriching! And that is our dream.

Looking forward to following your journey! My husband and I have considered this adventurous path for years….maybe, we too will put it into action!
