This photo is a black-and-white image showing a solitary figure sitting on stone steps beside a waterfront or canal. The individual appears relaxed, focused on a mobile device held in their hands, and has a cup or container placed beside them on the step. The background consists of rough stone walls, iron posts linked with chains, and more steps leading up to a street level above. A sign saying “DANGER” is visible on the wall behind, suggesting the area may be adjacent to deep water. The overall atmosphere is calm and slightly industrial, combining the textures of old stone, metal, and brickwork. The person’s face has been deliberately blurred to maintain privacy.
Experimenting with #StreetPhotography. Away from the crowds, down by the river.

Close crop of a sign in the original posted image. The text looks odd.
Yes , but I wondered because the signage in the photo looks like something AI might generate, though it does very much look like Gustavo Minos’ style. 🤷

This image shows a tranquil waterside scene featuring a large bird perched on a small wooden structure floating on a pond. The bird resembles a heron, with its long neck tucked in and characteristic grey feathers. Behind the heron, there is a patch of water lilies and another bird, possibly a gull, resting among the leaves. In the background, several bicycles are parked along a fence, and a blue car is visible near a walkway lined with brickwork. The overall setting appears to be an urban water garden or a pond within a residential area, combining elements of nature with city life.

I had the zx81 keyboard committed to memory. Skipped the original Speccy after trying the rubber keys and went Dragon. Later spectra had type-it-out BASIC so no need to memorise.

I thought this was an AI generated image because of the terrible text artifacts but found an original reference that is quite clean and does indeed look like a print of a photo. I wonder how this version got the way it is?

A brown and tan adult Egyptian Goose with distinctive eye markings and pink legs stands alert on a square wooden platform surrounded by green pond water, accompanied by a black waterbird and a cluster of fuzzy goslings with dark and light patches grouped near the edge.
A close-up view of the same brown and tan adult goose tending to seven fluffy, dark-and-light goslings on a wooden platform, while one gosling stands in the bright green pond water nearby and a black waterbird observes from the corner.

There’s labels: “suggestive” “nudity” and “adult” which really isn’t enough.
The moderation settings do cover more. All a bit half baked I think.

I don’t see it as a “tacky label” but then sometimes what is behind _is_ tacky.
Must be quite difficult to have one label to fit every sensibility and culture experience.
Maybe needs more labels for art that one can self apply.

This image shows a single feather lying on a gravelly, rocky ground. The feather is medium-sized, grey and white, and is covered with numerous raindrops, suggesting it was recently exposed to rain or heavy moisture. The ground consists of wet soil, small stones, and a few bits of moss. In the upper right part of the image, there is a small yellow-orange autumn leaf, adding a subtle touch of color against the mostly muted tones of the scene. The overall mood is natural and serene, evoking the feeling of a quiet autumn day after rainfall.
A real dearth of visible #birds in #BlackwoodForest but did spot this decorative moist feather 🪶

The image shows a wooden sign mounted on a post, set against a background of lush green foliage. The sign has the following engraved text:
“WARNING
THIS IS NOT A SIGNPOST”
The juxtaposition of the warning with the denial of being a signpost creates a humorous and paradoxical message, as the sign itself functions as a post with a sign, yet claims not to be one. The setting appears to be a wooded or forested area, emphasizing the playful, slightly surreal nature of the sign.
Warning ⚠️ This is not a signpost.
Gotcha.

The image shows a woodland floor covered with dry, brown leaves and some green grass. In the center of the image, there is a notable mushroom with a round, bulbous cap. The cap is brown with distinct, irregular whitish patches or scales, giving it a cracked or patterned appearance. Nearby, a few more mushrooms or fungal growths with similar textured caps are visible. There are also scattered twigs and branches among the leaves.
This mushroom strongly resembles a species from the genus Amanita, possibly the “Blusher” (Amanita rubescens) or Panther Cap (Amanita pantherina), though it’s important to note that some Amanitas are highly toxic. The scaly cap is a distinctive feature of several Amanita species. However, mushroom identification should always be done with caution and by an expert, especially since many wild mushrooms are toxic or deadly.
I did see lots of #mushrooms though.
And almost #AllTheLeavesAreBrown.
