What about those who have obtained citizenship of another country (that is member of the EU)?
Whilst I applaud sanctions, it is all moving so slowly.

More than half as long as WWII lastedβ¦

Must be even more fun when you 'know' π
Nothing wrong with that.
Exactly how I feel.
But for months Iβve booked to meet up with fellow Belgians tomorrow.
Iβm sure Iβll enjoy but would also have appreciated a quiet and calm WE.
Have a great day and WE!
Moin!
Youβre forgiven for the messages. They perfectly mirrored my mood/feeling.
Get through the day and enjoy, relax over the WE π€
βMoin!

Finally Friday!
Meeting up with other Belgians in Great Britain this WE.
Survive the day (WFH) first and then off, Southbound.
Also brunch with OHβs BF mother near Harrow on Sunday.
Wishing you all a great day and WE!
π€all goed well and positive news π€

Have'em in Belgium and other countries too...

06.11.2025 14:39 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh, you had some of those here, in BSky?!
On Twit that is rife but Iβve only had the odd one here.
I only use it 'outside'. It pushes on the eye lid/lashes and is therefor uncomfortable. But if I don't have it on outside, my eye continuously fills with tears.
Still got hourly eye drops for moisturising and nightly gel to use until next Wednesday.
π
Itβs not that bad, size wise.
π
UK is not the only country. Iβve seen similar before elsewhere (Belgium, Germany)
TPE was so badly run... Cancelling morning peak trains the evening before and often also on that morning, leaving commuters with one train an hr, both East and Westbound from HUDs. Ridiculous.
I nearly missed an Open Uni exam years ago because of that shoddy service and after that always took my car
Dinner looks lovely too!
06.11.2025 07:34 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Makes it worthwhile.
βHereβ the council charges more than double for a dayβs parking.
Most short term parking is now Β£1.50/hr(!)
And the trains are more expensive too.
As soon as thereβs a bit of wind, the eye produces tears.
Yesterday morningβs Specsavers check confirmed itβs on the mend. One more appointment next Wed.
WFH today. Might do that tomorrow too unless βworkβ protests.
Wishing you all a good day!
Friday eve!
Didnβt sleep well last night. βSuppose monthly review had something to do with that. Every time I woke up βworkβ was on my mind.
Sniffles and light cough too nowπ
Last day of antibiotic eye drops. Good as they taste π€’. Still continuing with gel-before-sleep. Patch for outsideβ¦

06.11.2025 07:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I used to like train travel.
But since I have a car I mainly use that, even on days out as it is so expensive in the UK and there are no combined tickets for bus/tram/train.
Nice station that!
