From today, women are effectively working for free compared to men โ because discrimination still exists.
The โunexplainedโ gender pay gap is discrimination in valuing womenโs work. GMB is fighting to end it.

After employers refused to discuss the claim further, the joint trade unions GMB, Unison & Unite have settled the pay claim.
We want to thank you for your participation. Our members voices are the driving force of this union.
Yesterday, GMB members in Bristol City Council united across care homes, childrenโs centres& reablement centres for our Equal Pay for Equal Work campaign.
