Anyway, enough about my smoky kitchen and horrible ex-boss. I’m re-watching Stranger Things and it’s still so good, even on the 3rd watch!

I mean, I actually think moments of happiness are somehow torture for her. I feel sorry for the fact that she’s like that, but she also inflicts her misery on others, so I don’t really feel sorry for her, if that makes sense.

A lot more than 150, since the plane getting to their destination late will throw off the entire schedule for the day. Every flight is now delayed, and the airline might even end up having to compensate people for missed connections! I’ve been watching Suits and this is a classic Louis Litt move 😂

They sure showed that guy. I’m sure it cost them wayyyy more than $155 in extra fuel, not to mention now they’re way off schedule, etc. Why not just have security meet them at the gate of the original destination?

I hope you’re right, but either way I think Dems will likely cave in on the shutdown. Too many people live paycheck to paycheck and can’t afford to not be working, and republicans just don’t care about their well being.

The difference is they have plenty of money already. It’s how they got their positions in the first place.

And this is why Dems will likely cave in. It’s illegal to withhold backpay, but if Rs can find a way to do it they will, because the cruelty is the point and they truly don’t care about their constituents. They’d happily let the shutdown go on for 6 months.

I fall for this stupid trick every single time and then I’m drunk by 9:00 on a Friday night and oversleeping the next day and missing the Arsenal match

Why are wine bottles so deceptive? You open a bottle, have a glass or two with dinner, pour a little more while eating something sweet for dessert, and then it looks like there’s not much left in the bottle. So you start to pour the rest and it’s another full glass.

That match was a bag of dicks and the fact we won needs to be celebrated
