I think you have it pretty darn close if not exactly right. the north shots also show a smokestack which was part of a sugar refinery. Here's a 1957 USGS map with my assumed location circled. Let me know what you think

Happy to go with you, I have done pretty much every bit of this, but not all of it is is bikeable, though you can get pretty close. Some parts are pretty close to your 49 mile scenic route from TotalSF

When I worked in Emeryville I spent many late summer lunchtimes (ok they were long lunches) picking blackberries at the Bulb. There's nothing like an industrial dump for nurturing invasive species! I still ride my bike out there to do it. here's a 1970 shot of the Bulb I recently acquired
