About an hour after getting her food delivery, the female house finch went out on her own adventure - revealing a fifth egg!

There was some commotion this morning as the male house finch brought the female some food.

The nest was empty for much of the day, but the female house finch returned in the evening.

On June 7th, a fourth egg appeared.

The male house finch had returned with the female house finch, though he didn't seem to notice the new camera.

I set up a camera to find out whose eggs these were and watch their lives begin. It wasn't long before this female House Finch showed up, with a bit of side-eye at the new security system.
