I think that I've officially hit a midlife crisis, or maybe it's just spring.

I was reminded by a coworker today that I overthink. How does one stop doing that?

My kid today: Your therapist gaslit you.
Me: I really should write a book.

I only read two books this year. Reading takes me forever, because I fall asleep from the eye movement. Audio books are a no go. I can't pay attention if I don't see the words. Sigh

"What's your favorite pastime?" "Dissociation"

Hahahahahaha! What a difference two years and drinking the MAGA koolaid makes.

I'm loving that my kid is so into helping with the cooking this year. It's not the help that's great but the teaching and time spent together.

5. We are cooking and eating today. Mom is bringing two dishes, but I'm making the rest. My kiddo is helping, so it cuts prep in half.

Which holiday type are you...minimal fuss or do you thrive on the planning and preparation? I'm the former, and Mom is the latter.
