Food banks had scheduled 94mil(!) pounds of food deliveries through a government program that buys meat, dairy, eggs and produce from American farmers and sends them to help people in need.

Trump’s USDA abruptly canceled those deliveries.

When my 93 yr old dad with lots of health problems got Covid recently I called the on call internist covering his doctor asking for antivirals and he said Covid has evolved into “a common cold” and he didn’t want to prescribe meds. (I’m an MD in the same multi specialty group). We are doomed.
