You won't find a Yank that is a bigger fan of Daniels than me! I've even been gassing up his little brother, Dash. He's an awesome defender, I just wouldn't put him as a better perimeter defender than most of those dudes, especially Caruso.

GMs just looking at stats and not watching a dude defend on the perimeter. Steals/deflections alone do not make a great defender. DD is great but he gets beat 1on1 a lot, is often out of position, and gambles a lot punishing his back line.

Funny, it looked to me that Garza was being molded into the Kornet role. Garza, like Kornet, projected as pick-and-pop big but he played the short roll great last night. I don't think he had a 3PA? Maybe the Cs are going to redefine Garza's career, too?

I hear ya. I grew up watching in the 80s, 90s, 00s where they just packed the paint and hammered each other. That style was not always aestheticlly pleasing either.
