This is very interesting. I am always terrified by extracellular recordings and Neuropixels have aggravated my anxiety. So I really appreciate studies like this.

Interesting passage. Buffon starts with a jab at the idea of classification by means of reducing beings to an ideal form. Are we, cell typers, exaggerating in splitting the transcriptomic dendrograms?
