I hate the gaps the push fits leave too and I think your method of trimming the pins is a great idea! Maybe glue toether from the inner pins as well.....

Was not aware until opening the kit that this was entirely push fit - no glue required. And it came together REALLY well.

Very happy with this build!!!

A Warhammer 40k space marine Dreadnought Ballistus model currently under being built on my hobby table. The leg snd torso sections are now done. Also, there are 6 space marine scout models, 5 on 32mm bases and 1 without

The plan for hobby today is;

🔥 Complete the Dreadnought build
🔥 I have Scouts that need yo be modified/upgraded

Once these builds are done, I can start on the painting process. Can't wait!!!

Halfway progress on these Mandrakes!

The robes drybrush & wash so well!

Bugmans Glow base layer, Reikland Fleshshade, then 50:50 Fleshshade with Red Violet (for deeper shadows).
Drybrush with Bugmans again & final drybrush of Cadian Fleshtone!

Well, I'm a first timer with Gundam kits so my choice was based purely on "rule of cool" AND that it is a "Gundam Base Limited". When I visited Japan a few weeks ago, I ended up leaving Gundam Base with 6 box kits 😂

A new #Hobbystreak begins; Day 1.

Reducing the models from 10 down to 5 & focusing on smaller units at a time.

If you find it difficult to work through large groups of figures, try breaking down the number of models & concentrate on that 🔥
