Didn't see the handball incident back until this morning.
Yet again, the PGMOL prioritises protecting their mates rather than making the correct call.

Husband. Father. Small business owner. Rubbish boxer. Season ticket holder at Liverpool FC.
Didn't see the handball incident back until this morning.
Yet again, the PGMOL prioritises protecting their mates rather than making the correct call.
It was the whole neighbourhood. Doesn't happen very often, and they got it back on after about half an hour to be fair.
16.08.2025 09:27 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Strange day. Spent over an hour at the LFC ticket office trying to sort out a fault with my dad's season ticket. Ended up with profuse apologies from the club and me having to sit in the Annie Road tonight.
Then that game happened.
Now I've come home to a power cut.
Never a dull moment.
I can't see us doing Ekitike, Isak and a winger.
In the unlikely event we sign Isak, I think we could use Ekitike as an option off the left and up front.
Getting a winger after that too? That's too mad for Liverpool, surely?
I think we get Ekitike and a winger if Diaz goes. But what do I know?
Feel like I've been in a daze for the last 2 days. None of it seemed real. I was still hoping it was some awful mistake.
Seeing the pictures of the lads out in Portugal laying Diogo and Andre to rest has brought it all home.
What a tragedy. That poor family. I wish them every strength.
If he's good, which I suspect he is.
I think we'd cope. We used to cope without Salah and Manรฉ.
Napoli have been pretty disrespectful to him on a number of occasions and made it hard for him to leave.
I don't think the lad himself is a problem. His agent might be a bit mad, though.
He's turned down some big offers from Saudi, so it's clearly not all about the money for him.
I look at Victor Osihmen like I looked at Danny Sturridge. He's a supreme talent whose career has stalled.
I reckon Liverpool are, once again, the club to rehabilitate him. The biggest stage for him to perform on.
Plus, he could have a belter song to the tune of It's Raining Men.
Get him in #LFC
Here's a video on it. He didn't elaborate too much, but he felt he was being inclusive and wrote, "Jesus loves you" on it in the next game.
Take it how you want, really. At least he didn't refuse, like some other pricks.
youtu.be/qquLRB8YdDs?...
He wrote, "I love Jesus" on a rainbow armband, didn't he?
I would hope that he was making the point that showing support for LGBT+ rights doesn't mean you aren't a Christian.
That may be wishful thinking on my part, however.
I'll be sorry to see Jarell Quansah go, but he needs games to develop, and he won't get enough of them with us. He'll do well at Leverkusen. The price we're being offered is great too.
Guehi makes a lot of sense. Can play left or right centre half and is good enough to compete for a place.

Just having a goosey at the fixtures.
The Premier League's hard isn't it?
You've got to be really good to win it. Fortunately, we are.
Sounds ridiculous, but we'll have a good sense of the season by the end of August. Very tough opening 3.

Little Flozza's on his way to Anfield.
What a statement that is!
Setting up to dominate.

@knoxharrington.bsky.social just listening to the Transfer Committee Rules show (really looking forward to the game this year) and thought I'd chime in on Branthwaite.
He's completely two footed. Played the full season at right centre half for PSV on loan, apparently.
Appreciated your openness and really felt for you.
What I will say is that the way you feel today may not be the way feel in a year or 5 or 10 years.
I'm sure you'll have many more special moments with the Reds, your dad and your loved ones. You deserve those. They may just feel different.
Just thinking about the lyrics to Englishman in New York.
Who likes their toast done on one side?
No one. Not Englishmen, not anyone.
Sting's been making people think we're weird all these years.
It was a mini tournament run as a test event before the Euro '96. England, Brazil, Japan and Sweden.
Young Roberto Carlos scored in that game, just as he was about to get his move to Inter.
Loads and loads of classy stuff from LFC and our supporters about Goodison. Some even seem to have a real affection for the place.
Not me. Went there 3 times in the '90s. Twice to watch Liverpool and to watch Brazil v Japan. Shithole.
Looking forward to battering them at The Dick, though.

Sorry, I did miss your point there.
I was speaking more about the best young players in general rather than Wirtz in particular, who I don't expect us to get.
That has to be our sales pitch, though, as Arsenal should and will be competing for these players with us.
Not lying am I?
Leverkusen did fantastically well last season, but that squad is going to get picked apart this summer and they'll have to rebuild. They aren't set up to dominate German football.
I don't think Arsenal will be looking to emulate them in any case.
A player like that probably thinks that they'll still get a good move even if it doesn't work out.
We need to underline that players like Salah, van Dijk and Alisson have come here, won everything and become the best in the world. We're THE destination in England.
I don't think Liverpool will end up signing Florian Wirtz, but I believe the message we're sending to him and players like his is, "Utd are gone. Guardiola's on his last legs. Chelsea don't know what they're doing and Arsenal don't win things. We're setting up to dominate in England. Join us."

I don't believe in booing Liverpool players. No one around me booed, I must say.
I can understand booing Trent onto the pitch, but not his every touch. Badly affected the atmosphere which had been great.
He shouldn't play for us again, though. He's made his choice and has to deal with it. #LFC
That new fella in the Vatican might think he's God's man on earth, but I fixed my tumble dryer this evening, so who is it really?
09.05.2025 21:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Cracking this open to toast the Champions.
I've had it a while, so it might be off, but never mind. If I die, I'll die happy.

I am. But that's the first one of those I've had in 27 years as a season ticket holder, so I feel like I deserve it. I've paid my dues somewhat.
27.04.2025 20:48 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Back home now. Telling my kids all about it.
It was some day.
I haven't worn a footy shirt to a game since I was a kid, but if Big Virg tells you to wear red, you do it.
So I'm wearing this. Signed by Carra himself. It's getting worn once and then framed as it should have been years ago.
Let's bring it home.
Up the fuckin Reds.
