new Goose is excellent. Says a lot that it has a few songs I don’t care for in a live setting (Dr. Darkness, Mr Action) but it’s so cohesive. Their best record yet. Studio Factory Fiction sounds so huge

He’s backed by Ryan Adams (who also produced it) and the Cardinals on this album. I’ve soured on Ryan for obvious reasons but this album is still good

if you’re enjoying the new superhero movies this summer you should try to check some comics out. not in a gatekeepy way but you’ll find some great stories full of amazing art and writing. and these characters especially have so much history and add so much to the rest of their universes

Heat was horrible, went into the venue right at doors just to get one of the small spots of shade on the lawn.

Worth it for the Sigma and Wave of Hope > Song I Heard the Ocean Sing > Blaze On.

I think the Final Fantasy set is going to be the first MTG set I approach as a collector as well as a player. There are just so many great cards of so many characters I love from that series. I can’t wait for the release.

Feel extremely lucky to see MJ Lenderman be as good as he is at 26 years old. Dude has a catalog full of incredible tunes at this point and has many many records ahead of him. Great guitar player too

Agreed. One of my fav runs attended for sure. Got the Moonage Daydream I was begging for N1 S1 and it was all good from there. This was my fav jam from that weekend and one of my fav jams all 2018.

I guess my one observation is that it feels a bit disjointed because it’s multiple snapshots of where a band is over a couple years. I’m really excited for the next one with the focused four piece from start to finish
