Congratulations on the publication. We will eventually need to care about all viruses to protect our brains.
"Memory impairment was induced by infection with either HSV-1 or HSV-2 wild-type viruses, indicating that the cognitive impairment associated with neonatal infection was not strain-specific"

"However, Long COVID is not a mystery. Research increasingly links the condition and its symptoms to persistent SARS-CoV-2 infection, with evidence showing that the virus can linger in reservoirs for months, or even years, in at least a subset of individuals"

Mitochondria’s Role in Social Memory May Offer Clues to Brain Disorder - Neuroscience News Researchers have identified a unique mitochondrial process in CA2 neurons that supports learning, memory, and social recognition.

Human Coronaviruses and Other Respiratory Viruses: Underestimated Opportunistic Pathogens of the Central Nervous System? Respiratory viruses infect the human upper respiratory tract, mostly causing mild diseases. "correlation does not equal causation" is unfortunately often used to rebuke new findings, even if zero evidence supports any other explanation. IE: genetics as a cause of neurological diseases, decades after birth is a theory which lacks any correlation and causation.

PINK1 & Parkin, two Parkinson’s disease-related proteins, inhibit the process of formation of mitochondrial-derived vesicles. These vesicles allow the cell to display mitochondrial antigens on the cell’s surface, deregulating this system of communication from the cell to the immune system. 2/2

This is a pattern.
We didn't question Mr. Nirenberg's lack of credentials. We questioned his interpretation that H5N1 is not neuroinvasive from a study that didn't look to determine if H5N1 was neuroinvasive. In response he attacked me personally and blocked our account.

If Mr. Nirenberg is not an immunologist,
Why is Edward Nirenberg offering medical advice?

Marc Veldhoen is a psychopath, not a physician.
Social media influencers who are not immunologists and accounts pretending to be immunologists blocked our account and declared us dead. Which is incredibly ironic.

Culling the herd. Eugenics through inaction and neglect. Many governments did the math and decided to let people get a novel virus repeatedly until “the weak” were removed (bonus, no need to pay pensions). Not caring that “novel” means unknown. The impact on our young, our future, is incalculable.

Primary care less accessible during COVID, but some practice types adapted more easily

The tragedy of abandoning everyone to take individual precautions is underfunded primary care. Without proper access to physicians there is an escalating and incremental cost when any diagnosis and treatment is delayed, especially #LongCOVID. #PublicHealth #EpiSky

It's not everyone ... but even when a scientist asks to back up a statement of fact, they are:
- not being honest
- seeking to waste time
- debating a position without backing up their position
- without ability to be swayed to consider or accept your position - or they would go find the data.
