Incredible to see the old haunt is now back on its own two legs. Hopefully this will allow them to make the projects they really wanted to all along.

We want to address recent reports regarding the status of Romero Games. These reports have contained inaccuracies, and we feel it's important to set the record straight. • The funding for our project was pulled, and our game was canceled. • Due to confidentiality agreements, we cannot disclose the publisher's identity, though some may infer it from public information. • As a result, we now have to reassess the entire staffing of our studio. • Romero Games is not closed, and we are doing everything in our power to ensure that it does not come to that. Any suggestion otherwise is factually incorrect. Indeed, we were in the studio today to discuss next steps with the team. • We've been contacted by several publishers interested in helping us bring the game across the finish line, and we're currently evaluating those opportunities. I use rambox. And while it's not perfect it's a good enough plaster for now. Have multiple discord tabs boxes all on different tabs.

5 years ago Phil Spencer and the rest of Xbox leadership had such a good reputation. They came across as genuine, focussing on the things that other publishers wernt. Now their monopoly means every terrible decision they make negatively effects the industry. Lives ruined because numbers must go up!

Please realise that most of these layoffs and closures arnt because of a lack of funds, profits are at record highs. It is instead a conscious decision made by dirs to pull back from bad decisions THEY made in a hope they will look better to shareholders. Short term thinking #gamedevlayoffs

Finished Rime for the 2nd time and I honestly think this is one of the best examples of "less is more". It's a subtly complex game that respects the players time and energy. Such a shame to see Tequila Works added to the gamedev graveyard. I hope this team finds their footing elsewhere. #gamedev

Looks cool and super excited to see more. I assume there is more trickery than RVT blending? All of the above examples are meshes blending with landscape or ground materials so it's hard to tell.

Yeah its an in-house engine. The Glacier engine, it's a really powerful and efficient engine thats purpose built for games like Hitman. Excited to see what they do with the 007 game.
