この間、あり会話でとても役立ちそうな言葉、「思い出補正」を学びました。英語に訳すと、Nostalgia Biasとかになると思います。昔から好きなゲームの話を聞く時、その言葉がよく出てくる気がします。思い出補正という言葉を教えてくれた人に感謝します。

ちなみに、これはNostalgia Biasの例文です。
"Call it nostalgia bias, but Persona 3 is still my favorite game in the series even after all these years."

Until last month, I was playing 3 gacha games. But two of them, Zenless and Star Rail, I got sick of for various reasons and quit. Now it's just Heaven Burns Red that I still play. The dailies are very short, there aren't too many characters, the music's always great and the story's a tearjerker.

実は、先月までガチャゲーを3つもやっていました。でもその2つ、ゼンゼロと崩壊スターレイルに色々理由で飽きて、辞めました。だから今はヘブバンだけまだプレイしています。毎日やることがとても短いし、キャラクターがそんなに多くないし、音楽がいつも良いし、もちろん泣けるストーリーがあります。

So I heard that Emiri Suyama is going to take over the role of Akari Date from Yuko Ono. Emiri Suyama played the similarly shy Shiho Kasuga in the Blue Reflection series, so I'm sure she'll do a great job. Sitll, I do hope Yuko Ono is doing okay.

I've heard of people who learned English thanks to TV show + books. On the flip side, I learned Japanese largely thanks to video games. Of course I took classes. But I learned so much grammar and vocabulary from stuff like Trails/Kiseki and Xenoblade.

ドラマとか本で英語を学んだケースを結構聞いたことがあります。その一方で、私は大分ゲームのおかげで日本語が学べました。勿論授業も受けたけど、軌跡シリーズやゼノブレイドシリーズ等のゲームで習得した文法と語彙が多いです。

私も同じ問題にぶつかっています!!最近のプリズムバトルで取得しやすくなったけど、必要な欠片がまだ多くて困っています🥲

I gotta get into the habit of reading stuff again. I did get to a start of sorts last year by starting a novel series in Japanese, though.

レンとオリビエがシリーズで大好きなキャラだから3rdも最も好きだけど、勿論FCとSCも大好きですよ!エステルとヨシュアの物語は実に素晴らしいですよね!

3rdの音楽とリベール編のプレイヤーキャラが全員いるのは本当にシリーズでも独特ですね~

I thought of watching Angel Beats during high school but hesistated due to the short length. I did end up watching it recently for the collab with HBR. I think as an adult, I was able to appreciate the themes and story of Angel Beats more.
