I've been using this paper for a while, and I really like the 5x7 size, easy to keep the whole thing damp haha

You can also try wet on wet, this is getting the paper super wet and dabbing colors in. The "blooms" where it gets spiky looking happen if you drop water in instead of color.
The tricky part is making sure everything stays super wet, which is easiest if you can get 100% cotton paper

Then as I worked up I would add the new color the same way, but then go below in the dry areas to add some individual clouds. Easiest to see with the pink

For this one, in the lower clouds: I painted the lower wiggly line in color, then I put water on the paper to draw some of the color up, paper towel, let it dry before the next color.

When painting clouds, I use a wet brush with color, then blend out the top with clean water, then do some texture by dabbing with paper towel. It's fun to do!! 😁
