I'm not saying that creating and publishing a comic on your own is easy. I've done a few and it's not, but there must be at least a dozen ways of writing your creator bio without coming across as an egotistical tool. Maybe Frazer wrote it for him?

Frazer Brown is a desperate and sad individual trying to forge friendships and alliances where there were none. The whole #TFTQ saga, nay, fiasco is a warning to everyone about big promises but nothing to back them up. FB cynically used COVID to ensnare comic creatives into his £37,000 charity scam.

Love it. You captured my commission beautifully including the Universal Monsters in the window. I am doubly delighted though. The 'Big Country' t-shirt is a lovely detail too. They were the first proper band I ever went to see live when I was 14.

Really enjoying Small Prophets. Brilliant performances all round with humour and pathos in equal measure. Mackenzie Crook is a bit of modern folk culture hero in my eyes between this, Detectorists and his reimagined Worzel Gummage.

I think I got the fear a little earlier than Threads. My best friend's mother was a CND campaigner. I would tag along to protests and events. I knew a little too much about blast radiai, fallout and Hiroshima for a ten year old. I also lived in Grangemouth.The ruskies had me zeroed in.

There's nothing overly horrific on the soundtrack, but the atmosphere of dread, despair and creeping terror is palpable. I don't think my mum would like to know I was listening to it.

I wonder if it taps into the growing fear of imminent nuclear destruction that many youngsters of that era had.

Charity shop find of the day. Some of my earliest illustration and music memories are right here. As a seven year old kid I was obsessed with this album and the gatefold booklet.
It belonged to my big brother but I played it to death, so my old copy is trashed. So lucky to find a nice replacement.

Picked up this nice Scandinavian (?) kjenge folk art bowl at my local car boot sale. I always wonder how these beautiful handmade objects end up in the grim heart of Scotland on a dreich Sunday morning. Paid £5 for it.
