this is what i missed.

those, IMHO, worth paying attention to are. i don't use the ones that aren't in any real capacity.

i use reeder (apple ecosystem) which allows me to flag/favorite a thread across RSS-aware fora - a couple of times a week i revisit the ones i'm really interested in. not perfect, but reasonably workable. all of the above fora are lossy and imho, rarely worth following in real-time anyways.
