Today Heaton Churches Together says farewell to Gail, one of our faithful ministers, who I am privileged to call ‘friend’. Gail retires today and moves on to pastures new.

Huge thanks for all you have done to serve Heaton, Gail, & for your dear friendship. May God bless you in this new season.

I’d like to believe that this is, in itself, the Riddle of Dr Milverson.

And we saw a Kingfisher on the way home, too! 🤩

A wonderful wedding this weekend back in the Midlands, in a forest complete with free forest school too! Lots of fun with good friends.

I’m doing the same planning at this very moment but with the coastal path north of the border instead! 🤣

Last weekend, I completed the English coastal path from the Headland, Hartlepool to the Scottish border.

It stretches 131 miles and is stunning! You should walk (at least part of!) it!!

Now time to plan my next walks north of the border to carry it on. 😁

Lovely walk today to find the Grotto today. Grateful for the time off and the opportunity to explore more of the local coastline south of the river.

I’ve now essentially walked the entire coastline from Sunderland to Holy Island. 😁
