Federal Cuts Threaten Babies and Preschoolers with Disabilities from All Angles Slashing the U.S. Department of Education, Medicaid, and more hurts young children with delays and disabilities.

Something I haven't seen covered extensively with regards to the Department of Education is the fact that the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA) funds early intervention services, along with Medicaid. EI is usually free, or very low cost for families.

I know Trump and his minions all have sneering contempt for kids with special needs, but trust me when I say that their parents will absolutely fucking destroy anyone who messes with the special education supports to which they are entitled by law.

Whoever’s choosing this can’t be that stupid. It’s…evil? Morally bankrupt? It’s the opposite of good governance.

Nayib Bukele purged the El Salvadoran courts, replaced judges with allies, and made the judiciary legally subservient to him. Elon Musk says we need to the same here, ending ~250 years of an independent judiciary. Stop treating his involvement in US politics as innocent and normal.

Last month Judge Diane Goodstein blocked SC from giving DOJ voter data.

Last week Harmeet Dhillon of the DOJ condemned Goodstein's ruling.

Yesterday Stephen Miller called "left wing judges & lawyers" as "terrorists requiring force."

Today Judge Goodstein's home is on fire, investigated for arson.

With all due respect, please read this, then read it again. Then teach it to your children and grandchildren. History is not there for you to like or dislike. It is there for you to learn from it. And if it offends you, even better. Because then you are less likely to repeat it. It's not yours to erase or destroy.

Charlie played both sides of the Iran issue on his show as we all saw, because he wants to play to both sides of the aisle. Tina Smith and her staffers as well as Minnesota Democratic and Republican lawmakers. One X post said “Nightmare on Waltz Street,” with pictures of Boelter, who is accused of killing Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and shooting Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, in the early morning hours of June 14. Boelter also went to the homes of two other state lawmakers that night; one house was empty, and at the other, a police officer pulled up to the house shortly after Boelter arrived, so Boelter left. Another Lee post read, “This is what happens When Marxists don’t get their way,” with a picture of Boelter.

Lethal force against a civilian vessel in international waters is a war crime if not in self-defense. If not in self-defense, only non-lethal actions, such as warning shots or disabling fire, are allowed.

"Not yielding to pursuers" or "suspected of carrying drugs" doesn't carry a death sentence.

I feel like in the 1980’s/90’s this would be a major plot point in a Tom Clancy novel, and the operation would be carried out as an off-book, illegal black op, with various characters trying to cover it up lest they face congressional hearings. Now the President just announces it.
