Over the past few days, I’ve been adapting LovecraftProject to full vertical mode for Android.
I redesigned the entire UI to better fit this new way of playing, staying true to the game’s minimalist, retro horror aesthetic.

Implemented a new, provisional UI to improve the aesthetic. I'm not entirely convinced by it, but at least it contributes to the MVP's look and feel. The UI package used is Complete UI Book Styles Pack from Itchio.

UI & Visual Polish Update!
I've implemented a shake system for the Health and Sanity UI stats. Plus, I've done some calibration on the Chromatic Aberration reaction and the Vignette colors.
I find this aesthetic quite striking.

Screenshot of the game Joust that I coded in assembly when I was a student. Ostrich control is by keyboard. No enemies, score, etc.
When I was a computer science student, I coded the game in assembly as part of a project 👨💻
I converted images/sprites to hexadecimal, added bird controls and managed collisions and inertia.
It was a lot of fun 😀
