Democrats should defund and restrain ICE to the degree possible. And they should insist on this condition at least: No ICE (or Border Patrol) anywhere near the polls or early voting election locations this fall.

I don't think Nick Adams tweets need to be shared. We all know it's fiction. Mockery fuels folks like that. Starving trolls for attention does work. It isn't always the only action that should be taken (I will separate trolling and threats that impact safety) but it is generally a good idea.

STATEMENT FROM ABBE LOWELL, ATTORNEY FOR DON LEMON Don Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles, where he was covering the Grammy awards. Don has been a journalist for 30 years, and his constitutionally protected work in Minneapolis was no different than what he has always done. The First Amendment exists to protect journalists whose role it is to shine light on the truth and hold those in power accountable. There is no more important time for people like Don to be doing this work. Instead of investigating the federal agents who killed two peaceful Minnesota protesters, the Trump Justice Department is devoting its time, attention and resources to this arrest, and that is the real indictment of wrongdoing in this case. This unprecedented attack on the First Amendment and transparent attempt to distract attention from the many crises facing this administration will not stand. Don will fight these charges vigorously and thoroughly in court.

Congrats to the army of talented people who worked on Stranger Things, which to me is not only a generational program, but one of the greatest shows of all-time.

A funny thing happened during the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, which came to an end on December 31. They shot a documentary. Would you believe me if I told you Kara worked on it? Like so many others, Stranger Things has touched our lives. The show really is a full circle thing for us.

It has only grown harder and harder to sit down and watch a show for hours at a time, because we love it and want to limit spoilers. But above all other shows, Stranger Things is the one we have made that time for. It's special.
