Congratulations to Jessica Meza-Resillas for her first research publication from her thesis work.

We show that nimodipine effects spontaneous calcium events in both pericyte types and impacts ensheathing pericyte contractility.

Nimodipine is a clinically relevant drug for subarachnoid hemorrhage so it is important that we understand how it effects mural cells such as pericytes.
