Happy to report that I have encountered the most 2003-ass fairground ride ever seen.

And I know that I say all of this from a place of extreme privilege - not everybody has the freedom to just unplug and feel safe. but like, i don't know what help i can be here. i just look at The Rectangle and invariably feel worse for doing so. to what end?

I don't want to go all "ignorance is bliss", but like. fuck dude. what good can i do in all of this? i try to be clued in to keep myself safe but i have never felt less safe. is it time for me to make the decision to just try to live my life in peace?

There comes a point where I have to consider what benefits this technology has on my life. There are cool people here. At one point I hung onto the possibility that "connections" made here and elsewhere would help me get a job in the games industry someday but. yea that's not happening lol
