The tradition at work is that the birthday person has to supply the cake. So I dusted off my baking hat and made this.

Firstly, because to hell with buying a cake big enough for them all! Have you seen the price of cake these days!?

And secondly, I wanted to play with chocolate 😁

A conversation about bees reminded me that I made this cake last year and it's one of my absolute favourite baking creations 😍😍😍

Happy days, but it's hard to get excited for a single moment when it's been so obvious for so long

Minority people, whether queer/deaf/blind/BAME/paraplegic etc etc etc, just being part of a story without their 'difference' being the point of the story or the reason for their evil is exactly what wre all fucking waiting for if we're honest 🤷🏻‍♂️

Tbh I, like most others in the LGBTQ+ community, consider us all just that; a community. So I'm not sure I count as an ally, but as one with all under that umbrella.

Ok so I may have watched today's #DrWho episode already, but am I watching again as it's airing? Damn right I am!

I wasn't overly fond of the first episode of this series, but second and third have been excellent 👌
