It's a very difficult disease for everyone involved which is part of why I wanted to include it in the book.

That, and in a weird and confusing way, to honour my grandmother.

It is a dementia-like disease where patients slowly forget everything they once knew and it has no known cure.

Jamie's mother suffers from it.

Duels of Blood (back to some "normal" stuff 🤭)

I haven't written much smut, so yes I read different kinds compared to what I write.

I do want to introduce some things, but generally I keep things low-spice

I mean, I don't *actively* seek certain types of smut, but if I like what I'm reading, I'm not gonna turn it down just because there's an orc involved 🙈 (also vampires are a yes please but). I only write humans, though, and I've only done one M/F and one M/M couple so far

He can't see the barriers Rylen does when it comes to their relationship because Rylen can't/won't communicate them.

Their relationship is meant to tackle generational divide and how both sides often miss the other's point.

They both need to compromise, and while his grandfather had, he doesn't fully understand what Rylen ahs been through.

In Ungovernables book 2 I am planning to create a holiday known as Familiaris.

Essentially, it's a festival celebrating unity and family. Most humans celebrate this with offerings to the deities and to the Goddess. The non-human races celebrate-
