Breaking news: most Americans have an accurate understanding of the GOP tax bill.

The difference is that now they can be really blatant about politicking from the pulpit, which will actually turn off a lot of people who come to church to hear about Jesus, not politics.

It was pure fantasy that conservative churches weren't already telling congregants how to vote. Even without saying names, they've been telling people which issues matter (i.e. abortion). Pastors did this while citing the law as evidence for persecution from the government.
