Browning it up

An interview asks me to describe myself as a writer, and I realize I have no idea how I'd answer. At some point it became hard not to lead w something like "a trans literary novelist." Trans is important, sure, but what is the truer thing? How would you describe your writing, trans writer followers?

I write the things I'd want to read and try to make it read differently enough to have someone else enjoy it. Although honestly I usually just tumble the story ball in my head once I figure out a hook and then the words either flow or don't. My graveyard of deflated balls is vast.
