This is a remarkable relevation. Sheds really bad light on Starmer and McSweeney's judgement when they appointed Mandelson as US ambassador. But the historian in me also thinks that this will probably has to lead to a re-evaluation of New Labour and its key players as well.

Watching the #German version of 'Race across the World' (first season is across South America). What's striking is that almost all the contestants speak decent, basic Spanish - quite a contrast with the British contestants. Also kinda boring because they are very efficient in finding local travel.

1) there was a rise in graduate inactivity UNDER the Tories
2) graduate inactivity has FALLEN under this government
3) The result is the graduate inactivity rate is currently the LOWEST on record
